El objetivo del trabajo es analizar la dimensión cultural que poseen las remesas colectivas enviadas por los clubes de migrantes a sus comunidades de origen, para realizar obras de infraestructura social en el marco del programa 3x1 para migrantes y cómo con ellas contribuyen al desarrollo de sus localidades. La dimensión cultural de las remesas hace alusión al conjunto de valores, ideas y significados compartidos por los migrantes como parte de una herencia cultural que los aglutina en el lugar de destino y les permite mantener el vínculo con sus comunidades de origen. Se analizan los efectos que las remesas colectivas con toda su carga simbólica tienen en el desarrollo local de las comunidades, en términos del mejoramiento de la calidad de vida y del desarrollo de capacidades, lo cual permite redimensionar la contribución de las remesas al desarrollo en términos distintos al meramente económico o productivo. La investigación se llevó a cabo con dos clubes de migrantes originarios de las localidades de Kiní y Ucí, Yucatán, que radican en el área metropolitana de la ciudad de Los Ángeles, California. A efectos comparativos la investigación se desarrolló en el lugar de origen y destino. La información se recopiló básicamente por medio de entrevistas semi-estructuradas a diferentes sujetos y por la observación participante y el análisis de la misma fue con un enfoque cualitativo.
The work analyze the cultural dimension that have the collective remittances that the migrant clubs sent to their communities of origin to make social infrastructure works by of the governmental program 3x1 to migrants and how with them they contribute to the development of his localities. The cultural dimension of the remittances makes reference to idea, the value group and meaning shared by the migrant ones like part of a cultural inheritance agglutinates that them in the destiny place and allows to maintain the bond them with its communities of origin. Are analyzed the effects that the collective remittances with all their symbolic load have in the local development of the communities, in terms of the improvement of the quality of life and the development capabilities, which allows to reformulation the contribution of the remittances to the development in terms different from economic or the productive one . The investigation was carried out with two migrant clubs from the localities of Kiní and Ucí, Yucatan and that been living in the metropolitan area of the city of Los Angeles, California. It was necessary to develop the investigation in the origin place and destiny. The information was compiled basically by semi-structured interviews to different subjects and by the participant observation and the analysis of the same it was with a qualitative approach.
