USAID\/Mexico is pleased to announce the launch of the U.S.-Mexico TIES University Partnerships Phase III Cycle 2 Request for Applications (RFA).<\/p>\n

The TIES RFA is posted on Higher Education for Development, our implementing partner’s website, at:<\/p>\n

TIES-US–Mexico-University-Partnerships.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n


\nUSAID anticipates funding up to seven (7) University Partnership projects in the following areas:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Strengthening Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Higher Education for Rural Development<\/li>\n
  2. Rule of Law<\/li>\n
  3. Conservation of Biodiversity and Economic Growth<\/li>\n
  4. English Language Education<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    University partners will have approximately 3 months to apply; TIES RFA deadline is June 20th, 2008.<\/p>\n
