The farmworkers of San Quintin, Baja California, Mexico established their independent nationally registered union recognized by the Mexican federal government in November 2016 and have been demanding a collective bargaining agreement with Driscoll’s Company, the largest purchaser of berries in Mexico and supplier of berries to such U.S. corporations as Costcos, Walmart and other nationally recognized supermarket chains.<\/div>\n
