Dr. Anaya&#8217;s research aims to create a better understanding  of underdevelopment in Latin America. His areas of expertise include the Mexican  Revolution and Mexican economic history. His most current project is titled  \u00abPanamericanism and Economic Development, 1928-1940: Private Associations,  Financial Mechanisms and Sovereign States in the Promotion of Tourism between  Mexico and USA\u00bb.
