Previously, he was an assistant professor at Stanford University. In 1997, Professor D\u00edaz-Cayeros received his Ph.D. in<br \/>\npolitical science from Duke University. His research interests include poverty, development, federalism, clientelism, and patronage. He is cur-rently working on a book manuscript entitled Strategies of Vote Buying: So-cial Transfers, Democracy and Welfare in Mexico.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nSan Diego State University Department of Anthropology Forensic Program and Latin American Studies Present CLYDE C. SNOW<\/p>\n<p>MARCH 12, 2010, 3PM<br \/>\nInvited Speaker -world renowned forensic anthropologist, Clyde Snow, will be speaking on his human rights work in Argentina and Guatemala, and the formation of forensic teams whose reputations extend beyond Latin America, with deployments to crises through out the world. A pioneer in his field, he has trained and supported a generation directly influencing the forensic protocols used in crime scene analysis and human rights work today. Included among his many projects are the identification of WWII criminal Nazi Dr. Josef Mengele, John F. The exhibition is a fourteen-year survey of the Danish artist&#8217;s video works that address flight as a metaphor for individual freedom and examine the sky as airspace unbounded by political borders. Seize the Sky is Aaberg Kaern&#8217;s premiere exhibition on the West<\/p>\n<p>Coast, and her first comprehensive solo exhibition in the United States.<br \/>\nArt, Aviation and Achievement: An International Symposium on Women&#8217;s Rights will be presented on Wednesday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m. in SDSU&#8217;s Hardy Tower 140. The symposium will be moderated by Jenni Prisk, president and founder of Voices of Women, and will feature an international roster of panelists, including Simone Aaberg Kaern, artist and pilot, Copenhagen; Jessica Cox, motivational speaker and pilot, Tucson; Loeky Droesen, senior program officer, Aim for Human Rights, Utrecht; Anh Hua, assistant professor, Department of Women&#8217;s Studies, San Diego State University; Lieutenant Chris Kieszek, pilot, United States Navy and assistant professor, Department of Naval Science, San Diego State University; and Captain Latifa Nabizada, pilot, Afghan National Army Air Corps, Kabul.<br \/>\nAn Exhibition and Symposium Celebration will follow the symposium from 8:30 to 10:00 p.m. at the University Art Gallery.
