El Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales (CLACSO), el Consejo para el Desarrollo de las Ciencias Sociales en \u00c1frica (CODESRIA), y la Asociaci\u00f3n Internacional de Econom\u00eda del Desarrollo (IDEAS), se complacen en anunciar \u2013en el marco del tercer trienio del Programa de Cooperaci\u00f3n Acad\u00e9mica entre Am\u00e9rica Latina\/\u00c1frica\/Asia\u2013 la convocatoria a participar de la\u00a0S\u00e9ptima Escuela Sur-Sur<\/strong>\u00a0sobre\u00a0\u201cDESIGUALDADES, DEMOCRACIA Y DESARROLLO DURANTE Y DESPU\u00c9S DEL NEOLIBERALISMO\u201d.<\/strong>\u00a0La Escuela se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en Chennai, India, desde el\u00a03 al 7 de noviembre de 2014.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Podr\u00e1n postularse para participar de la Escuela Sur-Sur, j\u00f3venes residentes en los pa\u00edses del Sur que est\u00e9n desarrollando activas carreras acad\u00e9micas y que cuenten con educaci\u00f3n universitaria, preferentemente, con t\u00edtulo de maestr\u00eda en alguna de las ciencias sociales y humanidades. Las\/os postulantes deben tener un demostrable conocimiento pr\u00e1ctico de idioma ingl\u00e9s. En conjunto, ser\u00e1n seleccionados\/as para participar de la Escuela treinta (30) personas, diez (10) por cada uno de los tres continentes, a saber, \u00c1frica, Am\u00e9rica Latina y Asia. Los gastos de participaci\u00f3n de los\/as postulantes seleccionados\/as ser\u00e1n enteramente cubiertos, incluyendo pasaje a\u00e9reo (en clase econ\u00f3mica), alojamiento y comidas.<\/p>\n

The Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO), the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) and the International Development Economic Associates (IDEAS), are pleased to announce \u2013 in the framework of the third three-year phase of the Africa\/Asia\/Latin America Scholarly Collaborative Program \u2013 the call for applications for participation in the\u00a0Seventh South-South Institute<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0INEQUALITY, DEMOCRACY AND DEVELOPMENT UNDER NEOLIBERALISM AND BEYOND.<\/strong>\u00a0The Institute will be held in Chennai, India, from\u00a0November 3 to 7, 2014.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Younger scholars from countries of the South and who are pursuing active academic careers are eligible to apply for a place in the Institute. Each applicant should have a university education, preferably with a minimum of a master\u2019s degree in any of the social sciences and humanities. Applicants should have a demonstrable working knowledge of English. Selection for participation will be on the basis of a competitive process. Altogether, 30 candidates will be selected for participation in the Institute, with 10 each from Africa, Asia and Latin America. The full participation costs of the selected laureates will be covered, including their travel (economy return air tickets), accommodation and subsistence.<\/p>\n

Les candidats doivent avoir une comp\u00e9tence pratique v\u00e9rifiable de l\u00b4anglais. La s\u00e9lection se fera sur la base d\u00b4un processus de comp\u00e9tition. Trente (30) personnes seront s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es, dix (10) par continent (Afrique, Am\u00e9rique latine, Asie).
