DAKAR, SENEGAL. 24 y 25 de JULIO de 2014<\/p>\n

En el marco del tercer trienio del Programa de Cooperaci\u00f3n Acad\u00e9mica entre \u00c1frica, Asia y Am\u00e9rica Latina, el Consejo para el Desarrollo de las Ciencias Sociales en \u00c1frica (CODESRIA), la Asociaci\u00f3n Internacional de Econom\u00eda del Desarrollo (IDEAs), y el Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales (CLACSO), se complacen en anunciar el pr\u00f3ximo\u00a0Taller Internacional de Estudios Comparados<\/strong>\u00a0sobre\u00a0Desigualdad y Cambio Clim\u00e1tico: Perspectivas desde el Sur<\/strong>. El Taller se desarrollar\u00e1 en Dakar, Senegal, desde el\u00a024 al 25 de Julio de 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

La convocatoria est\u00e1 abierta a investigadoras e investigadores residentes en los pa\u00edses del Sur y que hayan desarrollado estudios sobre el tema. Se propone que un n\u00famero de participantes provenga de aquellos pa\u00edses en los cuales las ciencias sociales presenten un menor desarrollo relativo. Ser\u00e1n seleccionados 15 participantes, 5 por cada una de las regiones.<\/p>\n

COMPARATIVE RESEARCH WORKSHOP
\nINEQUALITY AND CLIMATE CHANGE: PERSPECTIVES FROM THE SOUTH<\/p>\n

DAKAR, SENEGAL. 24th and 25th of JULY 2014<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the third phase of the Africa, Asia and Latin America Scholarly Collaborative Program, the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA), the International Development Economics Associates (IDEAs), and the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO), are pleased to announce the next\u00a0Comparative Research Workshop<\/strong>\u00a0onInequality and Climate Change: Perspectives from the South<\/strong>. The Workshop will be held in Dakar, Senegal, from\u00a024th and 25th of July 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Scholars resident in countries of the South and who are pursuing active academic careers are eligible to take part in the workshop. Considering these seminars and workshops as essential tools for theoretical and empirical debate, it is also proposed that a number of participants be from countries with relatively less-developed social sciences and preferably have a demonstrable involvement in NGOs, social movements or public institutions. 15 Participants will be selected, 5 for each of the regions.<\/p>\n

Dans le cadre de la troisi\u00e8me phase du Programme de collaboration scientifique entre l\u2019Afrique, l\u2019Asie et l\u2019Am\u00e9rique latine, le Conseil pour le d\u00e9veloppement de la recherche en sciences sociales en Afrique (CODESRIA), l\u2019Association internationale d\u2019\u00e9conomie du d\u00e9veloppement (IDEAs), et le Conseil latino-am\u00e9ricain des sciences sociales (CLACSO), ont le plaisir d\u2019annoncer le prochainAtelier international d\u2019\u00e9tudes comparatives<\/strong>, sur\u00a0In\u00e9galit\u00e9 et changement climatique : perspectives du Sud. Cet atelier aura lieu \u00e0 Dakar<\/strong>, S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, les\u00a024 et 25 juillet 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Peuvent faire acte de candidature, les chercheurs r\u00e9sidant dans les pays du Sud et menant une carri\u00e8re acad\u00e9mique active. Ces s\u00e9minaires et ateliers \u00e9tant des outils essentiels pour le d\u00e9bat th\u00e9orique et empirique, il est \u00e9galement souhaitable qu\u2019un nombre de participants viennent de pays relativement moins d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s dans le domaine des sciences sociales et, de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence, aient un engagement d\u00e9montrable avec les ONGs, mouvements sociaux ou institutions publiques. La s\u00e9lection des participants sera bas\u00e9e sur des crit\u00e8res essentiels comme la qualit\u00e9 scientifique, la nature novatrice des arguments avanc\u00e9s, le genre et le pays d\u2019origine. Ces crit\u00e8res seront d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s et mis en application par le comit\u00e9 de s\u00e9lection. 15 participants seront s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s, 5 pour chacune des r\u00e9gions.<\/p>\n
