The title ‘between lines’ is indeed suggestive of Chiu-Andrade’s trans-disciplinary and multi-dimensional approach towards his creative output. Chiu-Andrade’s multifarious interests in engaging and moving freely between various fields of art, as well as his constantly-shifting roles as a visual artist, curator, designer, director and producer, are also implied by the title and the exhibited drawings. In a semiotic sense, the title denotes that meanings can be traced in the relationship between two or more clashing values, as epitomized by Chiu-Andrade´s interest in engaging with the meeting point of art and science, practice and theory, rationality and subjectivity.

ENTRE LINEAS

El título de «entre líneas» es sugestivo de Chiu-Andrade del trans-disciplinario y multi-dimensionales de su enfoque hacia la producción creativa. Chiu-Andrade de múltiples intereses en materia de captación y se desplazan libremente entre los diversos campos del arte, así como su constante cambio de roles como una artista visual, curador, disenador, director y productor, son también implícito en el título y los dibujos expuestos. En un sentido semiótico, el título se refiere a significados que pueden rastrearse en la relación entre dos o más valores de choque, tal como se resume en Chiu-Andrade interés en comprometerse con el punto de encuentro del arte y la ciencia, la práctica y la teoría, la racionalidad y la subjetividad.
